How to Photograph Clothes for Vinted: The Complete Guide

The photo is the first thing a buyer sees on Vinted — before the price, before the description. A good photo can double your chances of selling; a dark photo taken on an unmade bed drives buyers away in half a second. Here's the complete method, with just a smartphone.

1. Light: natural, never flash

Stand near a window, during the day, without direct sunlight. Daylight renders colors accurately — essential, as misleading colors are the number one cause of disputes on Vinted. Avoid overhead lighting (harsh shadows, yellow tint) and flash (reflections, washed-out colors).

2. Background: neutral and clean
